Also, I don't know what kind of answer he's looking for. With any accident, you follow procedure.

1. file a police report
2. if it was a city truck, call the city
3. do not move the car, take pictures
4. wait to hear from the city, if they don't know anything about it ... you're SOL.
5. contact your insurance company and claim it as a "hit and run".
