I know it used to have one of the highest crime rates in the city. h: Supposedly it's much better now and safer. True? Reason is might be moving out there. :hs:

I live really close. It use to be REALLY bad; especially when Geneva Towers was still up(it got demolished a few yeasrs ago). There's still a ghetto but it's a 'nice' ghetto with plenty of light. And, not all of it is bad; there are still some good parts left. Let me know when you come to town. I'll show you around and I will tell you EXACTLY what places are cool and what are not so cool. Will has been to my place a few times. He can vouch for me. h:

I've been working in East Oakland for the past year and a few months. h: Would you consider East Oakland more ghetto than Visitacion Valley or around the same? :hs:

 

A few years ago, I kid you not, it was WORSE than Oakland. But not so much now. :happysad:

Shhh!!! Plus I know the law enforcment officers that live in the area; one of which is a really good friend of mine.
