saw chuck lidell at the airport. this was after waiting for 4 hours because our plane was delayed.

this is the fountain at the entrance to my gf's parent community. no, not a senior community.

this is their house, where we stayed. they had it built, and it was finished about 2 years ago. gorgeous red wood flooring that i forgot to get a picture of.

my gf and i at guava kai. they had some seriously good guava juice.

where we got out "authentic" hawai'ian plate lunch. i had the fried ono. probably should've gotten the hawai'ian plate.

there are roosters and chickens EVERYWHERE. apparently they had no predator, so they run rampant.

tree tunnel on the road to koloa. too much traffic to get a better picture.



there are a bunch of one-lane bridges there. you have to wait for everybody on one side to go, then you can go. never seen them before.




when we arrived in O'ahu, there was nobody in our terminal for our flight. i think because we ended up with an earlier flight from Kaua'i, but it was eerie.

Where's the pics of the Pali Coast?

Kauai is one of my favorite islands. When I lived on Oahu we would take flights to other islands every year and Kauai was the most relaxing. Take one of the boat trips out along that coast and take pics. It's freaking beautiful.
