STAFFORD, Va. - A woman convicted of a felony for throwing a cup of ice into a car that cut her off in traffic was sentenced to probation instead of prison, a judge ruled Wednesday.
good?...no doubt her throwing the ice was wrong....maybe if she actually injured someone really bad but nobody was hurt...and then to say you are gonna get 2 years in prison for that?...c'mon
That's like saying "Yeah I shot at him, but I missed, so I shouldn't go to jail."
womens sister was in labor she got stuck in traffic and got frustated and threw a cup at some asshole cutting her off....if i was in the jury no way could i have convicted her.
She was convicted because according the the interpretation of the law... she broke it. She DID break the law as it was written.
Some might have thought it was trivial on that jury as well... but regardless she did it so the law says she pays.
