Default Computer Gurus, Vista Question

Is there a way I can trim the extra unnecessary programs at startup, equivalent to doing an msconfig in Windows XP? I tried doing an msconfig in Vista, but there doesn't seem to be a run bar in the Vista start menu.

windows key + R

or

add the run box back through Taskbar and start menu properties
