Good luck on getting your ITR, don't let these assclowns sway your decision. If you want something, go out and get it.
Just make sure you have a garage and can afford insurance. Insurance on a 17-yo with an ITR is mad expensive.
However living at home and making that much money, I think you can swing it.

They don't call an ITR the "White Elephant" for nothing.
Unfortunately, it's not the best choice for you. To have an ITR fully intact after a month in So.Cal is an accomplishment in itself. You'll be too caught up in paying high insurance premiums and worrying who's going to steal your car everywhere you go. To top it off, if you plan on parking it outside it's game over.
Just buy a GS-R and you can have plenty of fun with it. You'll be just fine on the street without LSD.
