Black levels are better than my 22" Westinghouse LCD computer monitor, but not as good as the 26" CRT Toshiba HD set I have. I've recently watched Batman Begins, The Punisher, The Matrix, and Terminator 2 on it, which all have some rather dark scenes and all have looked good. Some details are lost in the shadows, but I probably wouldn't have noticed if it wasn't for all the hype I'd heard around the LCD black-level issues, which made me look more closely than I would have otherwise.

Hmm...I'm tempted, but I want to get a bigger TV with 1080p around summertime.

eh, from what I've seen unless you are going to use it as a computer monitor 720p is more than adequate for sizes even up to 46"-50"

picked this up for my cousin.

jizzmatic
took pics of gears of war at 1080i, will post later if wanted. It's weird though, the 360 glitches and lets me set the video to 1080p lol.

after seeing my other cousins 27" Olevia and getting wet from that, I was only expecting the best from the 37 and it delivered
