Default need a new car

K, i jst brought my 98 accord to the shop. He said i need a new knock cord or something? and theres like a lot of small problems with my accord. Interior is good and extiorer painting is awesome. He tells me, "we can trade cars if you want, but you have to give me money also" He has a 98 civic that needs a paint job and dirty interior. Is my car's engine problems that bad?!

Well, my main question. Look at this 240 for only $1500. JOKE??!:

you are lookin at a 95 s14 with a 97 frontend conversion. it has jdm kouki rear bumper.. it has r33 rb25det skyline motor . motor has around 50k miles. it has a clean title. it is primered black...the body is straight..only couple dime sized dings... lowered on tein HA suspension. the only bad thing is that it has a cracked windshield, missing leather on shift boot, the radio trim bezel is broken, and antenna dont go up....interior is in good condition...everything else is in good working condtion. it runs good. pretty new tires on stock rims...power steering works(for all those drifters)...no Air conditioning though... real fast...no boost controller or turbo timer....motor has never been boosted since swapped...

Sorry, whats a boost controller and a turbo timer??

I'll be nice this time. That 240's gotta be stolen or a joke.

A boost controller is a manually or electronically controlled device which can raise or lower the boost level on a turbo car (though it can't lower it any less than the where the wastegate is set at). A turbo timer is an electronic device that ties into the car's ignition system and makes the car idle for a set amount of time after the key is removed, allowing the super-hot oil to cool down before shutting down the car. Lower oil temp = less wear on turbo's oil seals = longer-lasting turbo. It's mainly for convenience so you don't have to sit in your car and wait for the oil temp. to cool down every time you get to your destination.

I don't trust ads that aren't written legibly.

Boost controller and turbo timer but hasn't been boosted?

:lmfao: get real that engine has got to be hashed and the parts on that car are probably hotter than a bakers oven.

Keep looking...if it sounds to good to be true...

I don't think you can do a 9005 conversion on a 240.

You're better off buying from a stealership or someone you know.
