She might have been feeling it with the guy, then when things started getting heavy she started feeling very uncomfortable with it. Well I think she probably could have made that decision before it got to the point of penetration. THAT would be shit happens...not halfway through the act she decides she doesn't want to anymore.

 

The uncomfortablness most likely isn't from physical discomfort, more of an emotional burden. I'm guessing it just isn't "out of the blue", but more building up until she realizes that she can't continue any longer.
