we went and bought some snow shoes, i got MSR Denali's

they are pretty rugged and you can add tails to thme for extra deep snow



gonna go hit some trails in a little while

Today has got to be the worst day ever to go snow shoe shopping. I would charge you just to look at them.

on the contrary, everyplace in the area was closed, we were pretty much the only people in the shop today. the guy was happy just to see customers. got mine at a 30$ discount, not sure about holly's but the 30$ off paid for the 4" tail add ons

well, i sold my integra in may/june so the ring has been paid off for a little while h: i finally sold the last of the major leftover parts from it this week :hs:

I have a pair

Buy them for your weight since flotation depends on weight displacement not as much other aspects.

If you are going to be doing hiking then calculate in average weight and buy one that allows for a +/- 25 pounds for camping gear if you are doing overnighters.

Design varies with what you want to do. Hiking up hills regularly is a different design than flat land shoeing and so on. It does make a difference so if You are doing all around then you buy a slightly shorter cut with the displacement you need.
