Default Car problem diagnostic?

1995 Teg

a couple of days ago...I turn the key to start the car and nothing happens, no cranking, no noise nothing. The light go down... try a couple of times nothing. 5th try and it starts.

Now same problem but nothing to do it just wont start.

I changed the starter like 4 months ago cause i had the same problem. starter is still under waranty. Could it be the starter again?

Any other ideas? now it's sutck in a small parking lot, a towing cant get access to it so i will need to push it out of there but tomorrow it's going to snow 20CM and i will be more then likely snowed in :wtc:

could be a number of things. maybe a loose connection somewhere. first step in diagnosing it would be to check the battery.

check both...clean em up really good make sure tight.

also the ground cable and wherever that runs too

ive had it before where car would start right up then when i went to start it and leave it wouldnt...after 2 hours of monkeying i wiggled a cable and got a spark...cable was only getting partial contact so sometimes it would roll over and sometimes not.

you can also get a meter and ohm the negative battery cable to see if the connection is good.
