on the + side, the Wii mote delivers for racing games. It's so cool to be able to turn your hands and turn the wheel. Mario Kart would be perfect for that.
Otherwise, i don't see how games that require precise key inputs can do well on this system. (Mario, fighters, shooters, etc)
We'll see. :dunno:
As far as graphics go ... this was the risk they ran to keep costs down. The Wii is extremely similar to a GameCube from a hardware standpoint. The looks are only going to get worse as time passes.
That depends Drew. The Wii is 2x's more powerful than the GC but the GC was the most powerful system in the last system war graphics wise. So if you remember what RE4 looked like, it can still look pretty good.

The GameCube, PS2, and Xbox all had 1 common factor ... the TV. Back in 2001 when all systems appeared, you had 1 type of TV.
With progressive scan resolutions getting all sorts of buzz, it's impossible for a machine that maxes out at 480 to compete with the 720 and 1080 big boys.
If you were to take Madden 08 and go side by side, there's no way the Wii can hold it's own.
Now, Mario on a Wii will look the best, by default. This is why there's barely any 3rd party support for a Nintendo console. The only thing that sells are the franchise names.
Hopefully the strong hardware sales will bring some back. (Why develop for a PS3 system that has 1/8th of the installation base of a Wii?)
