So finally after financing my accord I have one more payment thats due march 03.

What do I do after that? Im sure the title has a lean on it since it was financed. Funny thing is I NEVER looked at the title of my car.

Do I have to go to DMV and do a change of ownership or something?

 

I'm pretty sure the leinholder (the person you're making payments to) has to mail you the title. Contact whoever made the loan to make sure.

 

on vehicles of mine that have had leins that i paid off to sell the car, i just took it down to the bank that had the lein, payed the note off and they signed off on the title right there.

but ive always had the titles myself, the bank doesnt hold on to them for me

 

when I paid off my accord, I had the title in the mail a few days after my last payment was recieved. enjoy not having to make anymore payments for a while. I haven't had a car payment for about 2-3 years and I love having that extra cash. I'm hoping my accord continues to run strong so I don't have to make a monthly payment.

save and get a house or a condo, or mod the accord more.

 

Honda Finance mailed mine once the loan was paid off.
