ntfs: some

fat32 :almost all

Ubuntu will reformat the partition to its own file system.
I had my main hd in two partitions. One for Windows and one for Linux. When I went to install Ubuntu it reformatted just the one partition.

I know that. But I keep files stored on a separate partition from the OS...so I don't know if Ubuntu would recognize all my stuff.
