usually i just hand it over to the girl when we go out its like 60cents and they get happy im "giving them money" LOL :doh:

get like a big jug and just throw all you spare change in there. I've got an empty growler from a local brewery and I throw all my spare change in there, except for my quarters which I use for laundry.

wow, you guys eat out for lunch a lot. I pack my lunch 5 out of the 5 days I work. I work a double shift on Tues, and I just pack a double lunch for my dinner that night. why waste your money on going out to eat when you can make something up quicker and cheaper. for example, I picked up a couple porterhouses for $5 a steak at the grocery store cause they were on sale. throw them in the freezer and bam, you've got a killer $5 meal when dinner calls a few days down the road. Stretch a penny where and when you can.

 

Change goes in a jar at the end of the day. pennies in one jar, silver in another.
stopped eating out of the vending machine at work everyday so saved money by bringing fruits and water to work.

Other then that, basically I just spend less then I earn therefore creating savings

 

budget my junks and allot a certain amount right off the bat that goes into savings. if i have any money leftover by my next paycheck, that stuff gets tossed in, too

definitely harder than not
