I assume your talking about rolling a S2000....but rolling it with a roll bar is safer than without the roll bar.

just driving around with those bars and no padding or helmet would be too unsettling for me :nervous:

I noticed that over on S2Ki... a good handful of those guys have roll cages that are held together by bolts :screwy: I've always been told that roll cages should be welded on h: Can someone enlighten me on this? Because I honestly don't know what's right h:

the cusco cage is mostly a jdm bling item they're designed for rhd cars so it wont fit right in lhd's.

their cages for dc's and ek's are also held together with bolts

So is there a correct way to put one in? Welded? bolted? Combonation? :dunno: I'm not planning on getting one anytime soon but I'm curious...

A bolted cage is garbage and will fold the first time you bounce a wall.

Welded cage using HREW or DOM wall tubing either MIG or TIG welded and atached to the frame or chassis of the vehicle is the only safe cage. Those bolted cages just become more flying debris and loose items in the vehicle.
