Clutch isn't that difficult.
You bought the car used, there were bound to be some issues so why not just do the work and have a good reliable driver. It is far from dying on you

Less than you think especially if people are test driving it and riding the clutch.

Might as well swap out the clutch and check the pressure plate and bearing while you are there. You may be able to get away with just the clutch plate and not the whole assembly.

this would also be a good excuse to get a mtx + engine swap

When I got my car painted 3 weeks ago, I told myself that since I had so much invested in it, I was gonna fix anything that went wrong.

Guess Im fixing it!
