Cro Cop walked sanchez down bigtime. To me it looked like Sanchez was in a bad dream going, of fuck... oh fuck... oh fuck... w/all the running around he was doing. On that note I'd probably be doing the same thing if Cro Cop walking me down.

 

He did fairly decent. But I believe it was the elbows from the bottom that took their toll. Travis was guarding agaist the choke pretty well, and Silva was getting loose on it, but then started delvering unanswered elbow strikes.

 

Mirko can easily step into title contention.

 

This was known before the fight even started.

 

Honestly though...I think the best fight of the night was between Tyson Griffin and Frankie Edgar.

Just watched it. Unfortunately I didn't get to see it live so I skipped class today to watch it...What can I say? I'm addicted, I know.

Rampage is one of my favorite fighters when he brings his A game. He was a little shaky this fight but hopefully he got all of his nerves out. I want to see Rampage destroy Chuck again (although I'm not sure it will happen).

Cro Cop looked good but he needed better competition. He really should have been fighting Vera, Arlovski or Silva. Hell even putting him against Monson would have been better. I'm sure one of the above fighters will be his next opponent. Unless of course Randy beats Silva...then it could be Cro Cop vs Couture

I was routing for Lutter too. IMO Anderson got lucky Lutter was off his game and didn't finish him in the first round. But props to him for hanging in there. Anderson is a sick stand-up fighter but I don't see him being champ for long.

I'm looking forward to the Koscheck vs Sanchez fight. I hate them both with a passion and I can't wait to see one of them lose. I think Sanchez will come out on top in that one tho.
