Default So I just installed Vista....

On a computer at work. Very fast installation. Less than 30 minutes. Perhaps 20. I installed it and was running some updates and installing somethings. My boss left to go home and he had said I wouldn't need a key. Well after a few restarts a window came up saying that I need to put in a key. So I clicked go to the internet to buy one. From there I was able to insert a cd, install a few more programs I needed to, and run all the updates. :reechy: I'm glad I though to type in D: into the address bar. Its funny that they let that work when you haven't put in the key yet.
› Ubuntu Vista :: 2007-02-02, 1:14:22

My father heard about Vista coming on the news. Since he was interested in getting it, he asked me to obtain it and install it on his computer and he would give some cash in return. I told him I was going to do that, but instead I burned an Ubuntu CD and installed it.

Later, when he came home from work, I showed him his new "Vista" install, complete with the latest Office and Solitaire.

Well, it's been a few days since that and now he says Bill Gates is better than Steve Jobs and brags about how OS X on my iMac is obsolete compared to Vista on his PC.

I will continue with the prank for some weeks, after which I'll tell him the truth and give him back his money.
the RTM should let you install without a key... letting you pick which version to install.
