Dude, 6 mos. WTF? That is 2 full cycles of Marine boot camp. You must be busy or something dude to let it go that long. I would have gotten my car back and taken it somewhere else within a day, because by then the mechanic should come back w/a status of what is needed, how long, how much etc.

i would have finished it up myself... but he took it apart so it would have been a hasle to tow back

if i dont let him finish......... i originaly only took it to him to get the crank pully bolt off..... but he insisted i get the head i was putting on checked which led to other things... the only thing i couldnt do myself is wire the vtec........ but he always made me think that he was almost done

I've never brought my car to a shop, I had a guy chance the starter on an old isuzu trooper I had once, but that's it haha

:werd: I may sometimes have a question on how to tear something apart or put it back together but NEVER take it to a shop...waste of money
