Anderson Silva pretty much owns UFC's Middleweight division, but Travis Lutter might have a chance if he brings him down to the ground. Silva is credited with a BJJ belt, but I have yet to see him put it to use. I am quite sure that Travis Lutter knows how to deal with a MT clinch, so he might fair better than Rich Franklin did. He tried to power out of the MT clinch and tired himself out, making it all that much easier for Anderson Silva to punish him.
Rampage Jackson used to be a great striker, but he has been in a rut since being beaten by Chute Boxe fighters 3 times. Although he has beaten 3 guys in a row, he won two of them by decision which are rare because he usually wins his bouts by either KOs or TKOs. I can imagine that he might become a better striker if he fought much smarter than he has.
PrideFC fighters are in my opinion much more well-rounded than most UFC fighters. The only UFC fighters that I can imagine doing very well in PrideFC is probably GSP and Chuck Liddell if he can prove that he can go toe to toe with excellent strikers like Wanderlei Silva or any of the Chute Boxe Academy fighters.
Same goes with Anderson Silva, back then again he did do considerably well in his stint at PrideFC.
If anything, more PrideFC fighters will be going to UFC because that is where all the money is. Many of the PrideFC fighters are not happy with the purses they win and some even threaten to pull out unless they get paid more. So who knows, we might see the fighters like Emelianenko and Nogueira brothers move to the UFC in the near future.
By the way, a good buddy of mine is a trainer in Travis Lutter's BJJ dojo in Dallas, so I will be rooting for him this Saturday.
