Birthday present
I finally told my parents what I wanted for my birthday and got it this afternoon. Now I can finally upload some stuff back from DVDs.

it's a 16 y/o HDD I found in a cabinet, Apparently stupid people are still selling them on ebay for $100 
They actually got me a 300GB Seagate external HDD. I think they paid $180, but it was only $130 yesterday
