Wow... close call...
There was a scheduled drive yesterday to Mt Lemmon with a couple of cars. Anyway, I forgot the time everyone was meeting so I headed up with the hopes of either catching them on the way up or down the mountain. I do my drive all by myself and chill at the top for a bit before heading back down because nobody was up there. On the way down I see a bunch of sheriffs setting up a road block (10+ sheriffs or so) nearing the base of the mountain I see everyone from the drive coming up.
Already having done the drive I decided to head home instead of following up. I come to find out that every single person from the drive recieved a citation ( speeding, failure to stop, etc... ) Apparently, they had helicopters, undercover cops, the works to pull everyone over. Everyone thinks the law is lurking the boards :noes:
Close call... glad I listened to myself :hs:

That's a nice drive, my sister and family live in Tucson. I've done a couple of drives, albiet rather sedately up to Mt. Lemmon.

Showed them.
I think guys have it way worse with being pulled over than girls.
I know with my old integra cops saw an old slammed integra and i figured they thought I was a broke ass college chick.
They see a 20 year old guy driving it and they figure he's doing something illeagle or has no lisence/ insurance.
My X got pulled over tons in my old car, I've never been pulled over.

theres like 5 cops total working in the town.. and they only patrol like 2 roads...
on most days you can get away with a nice lake-side drive at about 50-60mph with liittle to worry about and no cars in sight
