I predict, a low balled 2 year deal.
This is the guy's first full year healthy. Although 26, he's a rookie when it comes to experience.
I could swear Brees went though the same growing pains too. Rex's were just elaborated due to the Bears still winning games.
When you say "start", it was nothing more than 5 minutes. The defense was on the field way too long and the offense couldn't sustain a drive longer than 3 plays. Combine that with Grossman's garbage mistakes and you're done.
The Colts contained the Bears' pass rush all night. Nobody got a finger on Manning until the 4th. When your WR's have all day to run THROUGH the defense (not just sit in a zone, but actually make a course from side to side) you can't cover that ... it causes too much confusion.

was it me, or did Manning was kind of emotionless when they won? it seemed more like relief than celebration, kind of odd. Either way I'm glad they won. It also seemed like the Bears offense didn't even take the field cause the colts just marched up the field every possesion.
