So I don't know a thing about building computers...
... but I'm building a computer (yes, how ironic) and hit a snag. The mobo I have (Asus P5N-E SLI) does not seem to have the appropriate slot for the video card I picked up (Biostar GeForce 6800XT).
Call me retarded, but if anyone could assist... :happysad:

video cards come in 3 flavors.... AGP, PCI-E, and PCI(older ones)
you probably mixed up an AGP board and PCI-E card, or vv.

no biggie, it's a learning experience and you'll know better next time, return either the video card or motherboard and get a different one
