i think its just cause the are so pushed agaisnt the glass that if theres ice they rip. Only when droplets of water ice ovr and you dont scrape it off. but they last 2 winters now its time to change them. cant complain to much...

They are the Trico Innovations and I haven't found them to be to flimsy at all. They've worked well in all sorts of nasty weather including freezing rain. Haven't had any lift off problems either with speed and wind.

As for someone saying don't use Rain-X that's what I use for windshield washer fluid, no problems and like to watch the water drops run up the windshield when I'm driving along and don't need the wipers yet.

well im due for wiper blades i was going to go with bosch.. itll be 10 for the high on monday so i gather my blades will be frozen to the windshield.

 

I bought some Bosch Icon wipers almost 1.5 years ago and I still have them. It was almost $30 a wiper blade but they're the best wiper blades I've ever used.
