Default computer peepz - lightscribe help

well I reformatted my pc a few weeks ago and just tried using my lightscribe to burn an impression of something.
The lightscribe program and nero arent detecting this as a lightscribe drive so I can do that. I can burn cd/dvd's etc but lightscribe just isnt enabling.

Yes, Its worked before. Always when you reformat something goes wrong

if you can, attach the pictures here ... you need to be a member to see them.

as far as your issues go,
a reformat is a complete wipe (duh) ... are you sure you're using the newest drivers and have ALL of the windows updates installed?

DOH.

I'm wondering if it's the install pattern you're doing too.

1. drivers
2. nero
3. windows update

or
1. drivers
2. windows update
3. nero

... I'm not sure which one would be right or wrong, but it can make a diff.

did you install the USB drivers before plugging in the USB writer? If not, I'd suggest doing that too.

You should see Print LightScribe

in this image it should show the DVDRW drive.

well,.........................the drive is IDE and i bought one of those external enclosures to put it in...It was working prior to the format.....but, like you mentioned I should install some USB drivers.......Let me try that first.
