Default 00-01 p72 obd2 HELP!

Ok I usually wouldn't post this kinda stuff in the basement lol but everyone that seems to be knowledgeable are here so.........

Me and 2001TEGGSR were talking about the 00-01 p72 obd2 ecu and the immobilizer chip and whether or not it can be programmed to any ecu.

If you didn't know or didn't read my sig, my teg was broken into. My ecu was cracked open and the chip along with another piece of circuit was ripped out. My ignition/column was also detroyed which is also part of the immobilizer system. I need a new key ignition of course, and immobilizer ecu. This one on ebay seems like the only decent/virgin ecu I could find that's from a 00-01 gsr (37820-P72-A05). I asked him if it has the immobilizer chip and can It be used with my car if the chip were to be programmed and he wrote:

The ecu can be programmed to your vehicle to accept your old immobilizer control unit (located on ignition switch) if you're replacing the ignition lock with a new unit the immobilizer control unit comes with it. if your ecu was damaged with this ecu you will have to take it the acura dealer and have them program the immobilizer to the ecu, this usually cost about one hour labor.

Should I buy it??? I Realllllllly don't want to spend $700+ (Acura dealer quoted me) on a new damn ecu that I can get for so much cheaper and just have it programmed.:hs:

I just added the ebay link, sorry forgot about that.

Yea I mean, me personally I won't be doing much work, i'll just be plugging it in. Question was can it just be programmed by the dealer to match the immobilizer control unit in the ignition that's all. I'm gonna call tomorrow but it's just been SUPER bugging me the past 3 hrs and wanted to know.
