At your age and with such a small curvature there is no way in hell he would recommend surgery. But a second opinion won't hurt especially on such an issue.

Cruiser def. hurt more because of hunching my back...at least with the sport bike I sit up straight.

the extra vertebrae pinched a nerve in my leg = sciatica. it wasn't fun.

yea im sure that doesnt help.

when i saw the orthepedic surgeon he told me the best thing for my scoliosis was to use like a rowing machine. he said it strengthens where it needs it

I had a small curve in gradeschool.

It's because I'd sling my bag over 1 shoulder, and not both.

mmm working on the spinal cord is risky...if its not neccessary they dont like to do it....recovery time is long, and sometimes more damage than good winds up happening

im not saying surgery wasnt something they do, just ist something they dont like doing unless absolutely neccessary
