$485.22
yeah thats how much i owe my employer
seems they forgot to take out my health insurance deductions, 3 times in 2006 and once in 2007. I have to pay it back "because it wouldnt be fair to the other employees for me to have 2 free months of insurance"
there goes the down payment for my bike

losing my job will cost me far more than $485.22
what i dont understand is that they could have brought it to my attention and followed that with "since we fucked up, we're going to make it go away. but, we'd appreciate it if you dont mention it to the other employees to avoid any conflicts"

my office mate knew when i got called to the boss' office that things didnt go well the second i came back in.... i told her and she called total bullshit on it... said that they fucked up its on them.... but all the pissing and moaning to my coworkers wont make it go away.
what im wondering is.... im trying to find a new job anyway.... so if i leave before this is settled up, i wonder what they are going to say then?

i dont see where they have a leg to stand on this one...this is completely their fault...its not like its something where enough wasnt taken out for taxes...rather their payroll dept failed to properly deduct a benefit they offer. if you seriously dont like the job....threaten them with getting a lawyer involved maybe
