i was thikning back to my highschool days after talkin w/ some friends over lunch yesterday and the subject came up. then i got to thinkin, how many of you clowns have done your share of talent shows? and what was it for?

i remember in high school i was part of this act where me and 4 friends of mine wrote a song/instrumental and performed it at our senior class presentations day. about 3/4 through, i stepped away from the keys and did a board/brick breaking demonstration while they kept playing the music. it was cool h:

 

I never entered, but I did watch them in high school.

 

anything exciting? h:

 

no offense to anyone here, but here comes some truth ...

the Asian kids would:
a) breakdance
b) do a routine dance
c) the one kid would play an instrument

the White kids would:
a) sing a show tune
b) something "goofy" (crossdress, juggle, magic, etc)

the Black kids would:
a) sing an R&B song
b) rap / beatbox

 

not true... in my school they did it all

then we had this pastey white dood come on stage fully decked out w/ a kilt, hat and bagpipe. we were all like wtf, is this a joke? then he started jammin out and we were all like :eek5: definitely one of the most interesting things ive ever seen

My high school never had a talent show in the 4 years I was there.
