Default Snow in the 909?

I had a meeting with a client in the San Bernardino area this morning. Shortly after arriving, it started snowing. The project manager drove in from Rancho Cucamonga and said it was basically a blizzard on the I-10 going through Fontana. Since when does it snow in the non-mountain parts of the 909? :run:

Some areas got some hail too, but this stuff (in Highland) was definitely wet snow. It was collecting on cars and on houses. You could make snowballs out of it. Most of it melted soon after it stopped.
