Theres been some interest in the former "Happy Photo Taker" game latley. I have taken the initiative to try and bring this back. I'm open for suggestions, feedback and input is appreciated!

Rundown

I am thinking that we might get more participants if we reduce the requirements. Maybe five themes per week is just too time consuming for some. We could also just start the voting after 30 +/- submissions.

Themes will be chosen at undetermined intervals. The objective is to take a picture pertaining to the theme(s) chosen. At the end, a poll will be set up for everybody to vote, and choose the best candidate based on photography skill. List the theme your photo pertains to, and a brief description above the image. Include the date taken! Limit size to 640x480 or smaller. Do not alter your images with Adobe Photoshop, or any other software. (with the exception of cropping.)

Feel free to post examples! Everybody's welcome to use a theme other than what's listed. No voting just yet, I want to get some input and see how many participants we have.

*Update*

Poll added, select which theme we should use for the first "session". I'm not sure if we will have enough participants to do this weekly, lets just see how it goes. I'd like to start this Monday (1.15.07) which should give everybody plenty of time to vote. I'm thinking only one theme at a time. If you want to add something to the poll, just post it here and I'll add it.

Should we use 1 theme, or multiple? Should we run weekly or start the voting when a given number of photo's have been submitted? Any other input?

My thoughts on each ...

Furniture : might be cool to shoot something like an Ikea ad or something
Life : wide open for creativity
Weather : a bit too shitty for this, unless you have some killer snow shots
Process : wide open for poop pictures
Necessity : cool
Groceries : nobody wants to see the prep-h and kool-aid
Work Space : I wouldn't be comfortable taking pictures at the office ... home office, sure.

As far as themes go, we'll narrow in on something after we get a few responses.

Brar & Rico both said they had pic's ready to post. I'll get a few up for examples here shortly.

Just FYI - I'm not trying to Nazzi the "happy photo" game, just trying to give some effort on it's resurrection. When I finish coffee, i'll get some examples up.
