Default ebay feedback flaw

Puts it into words well. I agree, it could be an easy fix, ebay is choosing to keep the feedback system the way it is.

Cliffs: some people are scared to leave negative feedback because they don't want negative feedback left for them.

Yes, definitely is a fawking flaw. I left negative feedback for excessively late shipping (6 weeks), and product didn't match description. In turn, I recieved negative feedback too -- for leaving him negative feedback! It's a bunch of BS, other than that my score would be perfect.

Since then, I always let the seller leave feedback first.

Most sellers won't leave feedback until you do. I know that the last 3 times I had a bad experience, I just didn't leave any because I know that they would result in negative feedback.

I like the Double Blind idea. I like the idea of knowing that somebody has left me feedback and that I won't know anything about it until I've spoken my piece. At least, from the buyer's perspective. I have had several times where I just wont leave feedback because I don't want a negative feedback in return, even though I've paid quickly and the seller took a long time, or sold a crappy product.
