I am in need of a desktop wireless adaptor, but I don't need 2 like on woot. I don't know much about PCI wireless cards...which would be a good purchase?

A. Standard D-Link

B. Can put antenna in a better receiving place.

C. Generic card

I don't want to spend more than like $40, if you know if a better one.

I forgot to mention that the wireless router is about 100 feet away from my desktop through a bathroom, room, and closets so I need something with some distance.

My laptop wireless gets a Low signal and isn't stable at all

best bet is to prolly get a range extender....

linksys makes one u just plug into the wall and it connects to your network and rebrodcasts your signal. not sure how reliable they are but take a look.
