I've been searching for a decent laptop for a while...and I figured since I had some extra cash from Christmas, I'd go ahead and find a good deal on one and order it. So after searching for a while on a shitload of different websites...I ran across this Toshiba L35 Satellite Notebook for $658. It comes with 1 gig of RAM and 100 gigs of HDD. I ordered the 1 day shipping...so I paid almost $750 after shipping & tax. I'm excited..now I need to get a wireless router and a carrying bag for it...for now.

 

my friends parents got him the same one. not a bad computer. seemed a bit boxy and came with a ton of crap on it though.

Dell, although no major sale right now ... has dual core, 1gb ram, internal wireless setups starting around $675.

 

ouch, you could have gotten something far superior through dell... for cheaper.

 

yea thats a bit high for the specs and only a 14" screen.
