Default Help me find a video card

Okay, I'm trying to find a video card.
I have no clue what video cards are good and what not. I don't need anything over the top. My computer is being used for general use. Some programming, little gaming, music and watching movies. I want to keep it under 100. The cheaper the better. I think probably like 75 and under.
I know AVI and Nvidia are good chipsets, but I don't know how to shop for video cards.
I'm not sure if I should go with a PCI Express or an AGP card.

I'm going to be buying from a store near me or Newegg.

I know but its just out of my price range unfortunetly. My gfs birthday is right around the corner and I'm about to buy her present and I can't swing all this. I still need to buy ram too.(I found a sale for 1 gig DDR400 for 89 bucks.)

Edit: Oooh, ninja edit.
