that is such a ridiculous amount of time to wait for a show to be back on the air with new episodes. what is the point to it? too cheap to make 13 show run in complete succession anymore?

abc is trying to stretch out a 20-24 episode season over 30+ weeks

the last 2 seasons, they stuck in repeats between episodes to fill the gap, and people bitched about it.... so now they have a fall/winter break, and will continue non-stop episodes until the season finale.
