Default MP3 Player v.Under100

I'm looking for an mp3 player for my girlfriend. Her birthday is coming up and she mentioned how she wished her current mp3 player could hold more. I was going to get her a refurbished nano but its 150 instead of 100. So now I want to find another mp3 around or under 100.
I don't want to go shuffle because she would want the screen. Any suggestions?

Sony players are really high quality and have far better battery life than anything, the only downside is the software. you have to to use sonic stage which is kinda slow if you have more 5k songs and the its just cumbersome software in general. But if she isn't really into computers it probably won't bother her. what does she have now?

Creative Zen Nano. I currently use this for my moto and gym. I also used it when I rode dirtbikes and crashed and burned on multiple occassion and it kept on ticking.

I actually have no clue.
We're going to costco today and I'm going to look there.

Shes getting a laptop in the next few days when she gets back from a little trip shes taking. I asked her what she wanted for her birthday and she couldn't think of anything. She finally said music or something. So I thought of perhaps getting her an external hard drive and putting all of my music on there (95 gigs). I figured she would get lots of music and more space, but I'm not sure if she would like it at all. The laptop shes going to be getting is either an Acer with 120 gigs or a Compaq with 100, so she has lots of room.

I like that sandisk. Those are supposed to be good. She might have one of those, I just can't remember.

Get a NEW 2Gb Nano for $150.

I'd rather pop the extra $50 for a reaction that might be much better.
