Security question for PC
Besides just hiding a folder with subfolders and files, is there a program or some other way to restrict access completely? Such that a person can view this folder if they know the pathname and a password perhaps? Maybe also prevent Windows from indexing it in the Recent Documents?

John, we know Windows security is loophole central...
BTW, I found a program that will completely lock out an entire hard drive from access until you use the program to unlock it again.

You didn't ask for a 100% secure program in your first post now did you?
Asking a simple folder lock question and asking for a more secure program than Windows security are two entirely different things

Isn't folder lock not available in the Home Edition? Only Professional n' up? I asked the same question a year ago.

There is a program called Folder Guard that does that. You can restrict access to certain people, hide the folder, make the folder seem empty, all that.

I have Professional and when I right click a folder, select "sharing and security," "make this folder private" is not clickable.
