last winter i let a friend borrow my car and he lost the face plate to my HU in the snow, near the parking space here at my complex. when i found it 2 days later, it was soaked. i thought it was a gonner. i let it dry out for 2 days and its worked fine ever since. it had condensation in the lense..

Put it in the microwave. That should help dry it off.
