serious question for s2k owners
honestly, as much as i liked the S2K when it came out, up until a year ago, the whole time, the S2K still seemed too much like a typical honda that kids fix up. i liked it, but told myself that its not "mature" enough and "luxurious" enough. it was just "another honda" and it doesnt even show the slightest bit of someone graduating college and having a successful job. at least that was my mentality up until a year ago. not like im saying my audi was any more "baller" or anything, but yeah whatever. then reechy gave me a ride in his s2k last year... and he drove it hard. and it was pretty damn fun... but even then i thought it was way too impractical. then i test drove one for fun. and i drove that shit hard. scared the crap out of the sales guy. and i fell in love with the car. its still a pretty impractical car for the average daily commuter... but my commute is 2 miles and takes me like 7min to get to work. theres no navi, no soft ride, no quiet cabin. but the driving experience seriously makes up for it. my only gripe with these cars, like any other car thats been out for a really long time, kids are getting these cars used for cheap and trying to come off as having money and a high end honda. its a fucking honda, how high end can it get?? lol. and even brand new, its still a measly $34k car. anyway. end of my rant.
although I dont own one, I'm a fan of their styling, engineering, and reliability.
I havent driven one yet...(hook it up eddie/chris), but from sitting in them at carshows and what not, i'm too tall for them. the top of the windshield is very close to my eye level hindering my view.
but other non-HAN member friends that I have love their s2k's with the same regrets that reechy has.

Though I am not an owner, I have always wanted one, but the more I think about the need to schlep things around I need some practicality so the Prelude works somewhat just fine. My next car will have performance to it, but will be in the neighborhood of Acura TSX, TL or a little more luxury.
The sales guy that sold me my Prelude told me he gets people all the time coming in to buy the S2000 but he sees them come right back within a year because the person didn't think fully about the impracticality of the vehicle.

I prefer the STi over the S2000 but I'm a ricer anyways.
h:
I'm actually at the point where I might be falling deeper into love with the STi than I was the Supra. :uhhok: I'll have one by June.
