As of yet, I have not driven the G35/z or the S2000, but I plan on purchasing within the next year as a daily driver for myself. I have done tons of research along the way ranging f/ car shows, online reviews etc and basically, just need to do some test driving. At this point, the S2000 is much more appealing to me for several reasons,
1. Now that I live in Florida, I want another RWD car.
2. I can enjoy a convertible 95% of the year.
3. Overall, it is a "fun" car in that its quick, good handling, reliable and isn't a killer at the pump. In addition, being a small roadster, it just has a different feel when you sit in it.
4. Priced VERY well for the car you get.

As to having kids, the only thing that bugs me is the lack of Air Bag shutoff on the past models (I'm gonna buy CPO for myself...the wife & kid gets the new car ) but in the end, they use the element or whichever car we get her next anyway.

Anyway, I got the S2000 for these reasons

1. Handling - I liked the handling of this car over all the ones in this price range. I don't like the STi and/or EVO. I also didn't like how the G35 or 350Z handled. I drove Woong's G35 and also a friend's G35 (manual)....didn't like it. 350Z - I didn't feel comfortable for some reason.
2. Convertible - No one in my family is bald, but who knows? I may go bald when I hit my 40's so I figured I will enjoy the topless mode while I still have hair on my head.
3. I've always liked the S2000 since it's introduction but wasn't able to afford it then and when I did it wasn't practical. Everything is different these days.
4. Baller status? WTF? What the hell would you consider baller status? I live in Southern California. You have to make around $150k per year AT LEAST to even be considered. I drive a Honda.....it's RWD and I like it....that's all. If I wanted to be pimping I'd be driving an M3, but I would be eating Cup O' Noodles forever and living out of a crappy apartment. Let's not kid ourselves here.

But yeah.....overall I love the handling on these babies
Jimmy you still owe me free cable :fawk:
But I respect your decision. now if Ducky gets one then I will flip out.
