Default post-bac question

Hey guys, I'll be graduating this summer with a degree in Computer Engineering from RIT. I really want to go to medical school so I can combine EE/CE with medicine. The problem is, I dont satisfy any of the requirements to enter into medical school.

Does anyone know of a program that will allow me to study for a year to take the courses I need to enter into med school? I'd like something that provides a degree (I dont want to waste a year). Or does anyone know of PhD (or similar) program that accepts engineers and allows them to take medical courses as neccessary?

The only problem I found is that the post-bac medical school programs will not give you a degree and they don't guarantee entrance into medical school.

I think you're stuck with the no degree and trying to get into med school. Just get a 4.0 and you're in for sure. Oh and MCATs

I think you're stuck doing a program for a year without getting another degree but it's hardly wasting your time. If you want to go to med school it's what you have to do. Stop looking for short cuts and suck it up :fawk:

you'll have to go back and take all the Chem/Bio stuff with the incoming students and probably get another BA in the process. But it should take as long the second time.

Stanford recently started a masters in medicine program. You have to be in a Ph D track in some related field to do it. It's pretty intense. I also don't know what the prospects are as far as actually going into med school afterwards.
