Default Merry Chrismahannukwanzaaka!

Today at work we had a "yankee swap" which is basically some overly convoluted (for no particular reason) way to do an office gift swap. Everyone who wanted to could bring in gifts worth $25 or less.

Josh asked if he could do a framed picture of me with a $20 bill slipped in somewhere discrete. I obliged. So, we took a picture that was about as stereotypically me as possible:

The trench coat, driving cap, my car, and me being the lone Jew, are all running jokes. Plus the fact that it's actually a framed 8x10 of this makes it even more ridiculous. Definitely got the reception as the best gift of the day.

Most people just bought booze of one sort or another, I wanted to go with something a bit more original so within about 2 minutes of walking through Target I came upon this little dandy:

The gift I got was some like, 15-in-1 wooden table game set which will be alright down the road when I have a living room which I want to adorn. For the time being though, I think I might actually go back to Target and get me my own espresso maker...it looks pretty damn cool. h:

I didn't get the espresso maker, that's what I bought for someone else to have. I got fancy-looking wooden chess board that is convertible to a bunch of other games like backgammon and chinese checkers and whatnot.

My legs are short for my height so I fit just right with the seat as far back as it'll go. I have about 1" of clearance under the raised top.
