I give K2 and Salomon slack because they have been in the game for quite a while and have proved themselves pretty well in the snowboard market. Head is relativley new and I always give a few seasons to get long term feedback before giving a nod to a new company.
Just think of the early Lib Tech fiasco with constant delams and sketchy technology that resulted in peeling edges
