If something was shipped to me that had to be signed for and nobody was home, can I pick the package up in the evening at a UPS center like FedEx does? It was supposed to be delivered tomorrow on my off day, but was delivered today when nobody was home to sign for it. I'm hoping that I can pick it up instead of having to wait at home all day tomorrow for the 2nd delivery attempt. Anybody know?

 

Yes you can, they should have left a card with information on when they are going to be back tomorrow and a number where you can contact them if you want to pick it up

Whenever I have had to pick-up the item I had to wait the next business day because often the truck returns after business hours and then they remove it from the truck and you can pick it up the next day.

 

Nothing for the S2K . My new PC is finally here...so I want to pick it up, then set it up tonight...and then play golf tomorrow instead of sit around waiting for UPS all day. o:

 

I know with FedEx that they usually stay open later than the trucks return...so you bring in the delivery slip and they go get your package. The real question is if my PC and monitor will fit in the S2K. o:

I don't know, I haven't been home yet. I'm at work, but was tracking it to make sure it would be delivered tomorrow. The tracking on UPS's site said that a delivery attempt had already been made.
