Haven't done this in a while but what book or books are you currently reading?

Books of Blood by Clive Barker (3rd time)
Last exit to Brooklyn by Hubert Selby Jr. (also wrote Requiem for a Dream)
The Street of Crocodiles by Bruno Schulz

Introduction to marine biology. Any marine biologists in the house? I'm seriously considering entering this profession. I'm extremely amazed.

The Social Contract by Jean Jacques Rousseau
I have the following in my queue:

The Prince by Machiavelli
Republic by Plato
The Wealth of Nations by Adam Smith

I have a desire to enrich myself and figured that this was a good way to start. I am taking off for the week between Christmas and New Years to plug through a lot of it.
