snowboard crew v.imthinking
im thinking about trying it out again this winter.
personally, skiing at the mountain i ski at is no longer really a challenge or interesting
h: the trails are so short and i only really ski three or four of them.
so i have an old cheap jolt snowboard, but its like brand new
h: i have sims bindings, but my boots dont fit anymore.
any ideas on a somewhat cheap, but good boot that i can buy, so i can start to learn again this winter? i dont know what companies are really good boots.
i figure ill end up going 4, 5 times a week and should get the hang of it pretty quick.

I run an old pair of Airwalk Freeride boots and they have been great for me. I doubt they even make them anymore though.

i think i have an old pair of airwalk's daniel frack's signature pair. not sure though.. i guess im just gonna go try some on this weekend and buy the cheapest most comfortable pair i can find.
the key, like said before, is to find a comfortable boot...
ive had vans, airwalks, and burtons and they were all pretty decent because they were comfortable. get something with really good ankle support. ive used buddies boots that felt way too weak in the ankles and i didnt feel as comfortable riding.

If you actually ride then you need a higher cut boot with more ankle support than a jib boot is going to offer, plus it helps keep the powder out of your boot which is something you don't have to worry about if all you do is jib

Depends on if you actually ride or just stay in the stupid jib park all day
