I know Talon TSi's that run 11s, but they're still pieces of shit.

Anyways, The Corvette Z06 is a street legal race car that can handle and accelerate, probably one of the greatest sports cars ever made IMO.

People complaining about the interior, the Ferrari 430 isn't that great either. You don't buy a Z06 for comfort and amnemities, look at the S2000 and the Lotus Elise. It's no-nonsense, spartan and plain sports car.

I saw a guy online that bought a new Ferrari 360 CS and bought navigations for it and LCD screens. I mean seriously, wtf?
agreed. handling and stopping play a big roll too.

i cant remember how many conversations i've overheard from certain car owners saying their NA 1.8L engine beat a (fill in an overall performer car here) in a drag race.

u know i was thinkin about this thread at work, and was thinking, even if the new z06 came with a seriously nice interior, someone would say "I dont like chevrolet's" or "chevy changed it too much" or whatever else.

find me cars that no one can talk shit about reliability/performance/build quality and someone will still say "well its too expensive" bla bla bla

:dunno:

well due to the fact that it is a 7 liter small block this means it has VERY thin walls and more than likely would destroy a wall, piston and who knows what else after a single detonation....probably no matter how minor....personally i would not boost this

1. Thin cylinder walls don't mean shit when the motor is sleeved.
2. You can boost anything on stock internals if you're not a retard.

We have an '06 Z06 in the body shop right now. Rolled over a mailbox...so the guys says. So the quarter has a little dent in it and it needs a new bumper cover.

It's silver...which I like...my dad doesn't, but I do.

The quarter panel completely unbolts, takes like an hour or so...but it can come off without having to cut anything off or drilling out spot welds.

Like I said, I don't mind not having luxuries. But looking cheap is another thing altogether
